Summer Bank Holidays, Festivals & Glamping. Let the good times roll!

Monday Bank holiday and we're promised sunshine, fingers crossed, means only one thing for me, picnic.  Get the rug out, plonk my bottom on it with french market basket in hand and a bottle of Rose and let the kids run riot, occasionally throwing them some food.

Hopefully long endless, hazy summer days are just around the corner, with festivals fast approaching and glamping on the horizon, my blue and white Falcon enamel gets to come outside.

Lunch in the garden, anyone?

I have also added some of my favourite al fresco dining recipes,

Rachel Khoos roast lamb cooked in a Riess enamel baking pan.

What Jessica baked next, makes Rachel Khoos quiche lorraine,

Jamie Olivers Savoury Cheese Scones, alternative to bread and delicious with ham and mustard or chutney.

Don't forget the salad, this is perfect for picnics.  Good old Jamie Oliver.

Eton mess courtesy of Delia, put it in individual tubs or a huge sharing tub, no need to worry if it gets thrown about in the car, it's already smashed up.  Don't forget the spoons!
